About St. Tikhon's Summer Camp
Saint Tikhon’s Summer Camp is a one-week sleep-away camp program for Orthodox Christian children between the ages of 7 and 17.
The camp is a self-supporting program of the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania of the Orthodox Church in America and held on the grounds of Saint Tikhon’s Monastery and Seminary annually during the first week of July.
Our participants enjoy a superior religious education program and daily church services as well as plenty of outdoor recreational activities with their peers. To learn more about a typical day at summer camp, please click here.
The camp program was founded as an initiative of the Seminary to encourage Orthodox Christian youths to play and pray together. Martin Paluch served as Camp Director from its inception until 2010.
In 2011, the camp celebrated its first season operating under the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania, welcoming new leadership from the Office of Young Adult Activities.
The program continues to operate with the blessing of His Eminence, Archbishop Mark, and with the continued support of the Monastery and Seminary.
