What are you doing this summer?
*An Important Announcement Regarding Camp 2020*
May 29, 2020
To the friends and family of St. Tikhon’s Summer Camp,
With heavy hearts, we have made the decision to cancel camp for this year. The health and safety of our campers and counselors remains our top priority, so after consultation with diocesan leadership and following the lead of local health officials, we feel that it is in the best interest of our campers and counselors to cancel this year’s summer camp.
We are passionate about the camp, and we know you all love it as much as we do. Some things are out of our control, but we look forward to seeing you all in person again in the summer of 2021.
Although we will not be having traditional camp activities, we know it is important to keep in touch. We are currently considering virtual alternatives to help us all stay connected. We will keep you updated as details will be forthcoming.
We know that the last few months have been an uncertain time for us all, so we especially appreciate the incredible number of both counselor and camper applications that we have received. We will begin the process of issuing refunds for your deposit as quickly as possible. These refunds will be mailed to the address listed on the summer camp application you submitted.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to the directors with any questions!
A Summer Tradition
Saint Tikhon’s Summer Camp is a one-week sleep-away camp program for Orthodox Christian children between the ages of 7 and 17.
Our participants enjoy a superior religious education program and daily church services, as well as plenty of outdoor recreational activities with their peers.
